Seven sportspersons from the organization of the Indian game have been granted the lofty Padma awards for the year 2021, the Ministry of Home Affairs has affirmed on Monday. P. Anitha (Padma Shri), Mouma Das (Padma Shri), Anshu Jamsenpa (Padma Shri), Madhavan Nambiar (Padma Shri), Sudha Hari Narayan Singh (Padma Shri), Virender Singh (Padma Shri), KY Venkatesh (Padma Shri) have been granted the renowned honour in the games classification for the year 2021. Consistently, the honour victors are declared just before Republic Day (January 25). The President of India congratulates the Padma Awards in the period of April or March.
For the year 2021, the Padma awards will be presented by President Ram Nath Kovind in the stylized capacities which will occur at the Rashtrapati Bhawan. As per the Ministry of Home Affairs, President Kovind has endorsed the conferment of 119 Padma Awards. The Padma grant list for the year 2021 includes 7 Padma Vibhushan, 10 Padma Bhushan, and 102 Padma Shri Awards. Saluting the Padma awardees on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the whole country is pleased with every individual presented the high honour. “We are pleased with every one of the individuals who have been given the Padma Awards.
