Amethi: Union pastor Smriti Irani on Monday purchased a plot of land in Amethi to make a house for herself and, in an obvious burrow at Congress pioneer Rahul Gandhi, said no MP from here at any point made the supporters his home.

Irani purchased the land at Medan Mawai territory of Gauriganj in Amethi for an amount of ₹12 lakh and got it enlisted here on Monday. “I have been living in a leased convenience here till now,” she said, adding she would welcome all individuals from her voting demographic during the “bhoomi poojan” for the development of her home here.
She said she had vowed to set up a medical college and a military school in Amethi other than getting assembled a detour street for the city. She said she had satisfied every one of her guarantees till now.
